In blackjack, should I increase bet with a heavy deck?

In blackjack, if I KNOW that the deck is heavy (more tens and aces) than in a full deck (as compared to small cards), should I increase my bet, maximizing possibility of blackjack? or should I be increasing bet when the deck is light, on theory that dealer will probably have to work harder?

So what is the Opt I Blackjack card counting system? It is basically another card counting strategy without using aces as a plus card. It is that simple! let me elaborate.

The Hi-Opt I professional card counting strategy uses additional rules in card counting to increase the accuracy of card count. sometimes it is also known as the Einstein Card Count.

There are some players who think that this method increases only a small percentage for the player’s advantage and is not enough to justify using it. some will think this is a far more superior counting method. I leave it to you to decide.

The Hi-Opt I count is based on addition and subtraction from the number one, using simple mathematics.

Let us break down the rules -

1) all the 2’s are equal to the value of 0. they do not change the card count.

2) all the small cards from 3’s, 4’s, 5’s and 6’s are counted as a plus 1 when they are played out.

3) all the 7’s, 8’s and 9’s carry the value of 0.

4) all the 10’s, J’s, Q’s and K’s carry the value of minus 1.

5) all the Aces do not change the card count with a value of 0.

This method of counting allows you to beat the dealer by keeping a side count on the aces. This smart feature is certainly advantageous for the player in any blackjack games.

If you understand a single deck of cards, every ace card played removes a quarter or 25% winning natural 21 of the deck cards played. In real life, this is not so. So to determine whether the deck shoe is packed with aces or not is a real possibility to gain an extra hand against the house!

Let’s continue with point 6:

After 25% of the deck has been dealt and there are no aces, add a plus one to the count.

If two aces had been dealt, minus one from the count.

The most tricky part is determining the true division or true count as you need to divide the decks for betting purposes and keeping track of the true count.

Whether you learned the Hi-Opt I count or any other strategies, you will still need the ultimate blackjack strategy to come out a winner all the time. I can bet that if you leave the casinos today with a ten thousand dollar note and laughing to yourself, the chances are, the next day you will go to the casino and lose that money in a split second!

So what must you do to lose this emotion of greed and revenge?

1) You must know what you decide to gamble.

2) You must be ready to lose that money.

3) You must make a plan of exit when you start to lose, like 3 consecutive losses and you quit. or lose $500 and you quit and make sure that $500 is the house’s money!

4) Enforce discipline into your soul before you head out to the casinos. or else all the rules and strategies you employed will just go to waste!

5) Remind yourself that this is all just business and nothing personal.

6) Smile to yourself when you leave the casinos even when you had lost your initial cash.

7) always bring a small fixed sum (in relation to your salary) to play in the casinos every time, regardless whether your previous win was big or small or whether your last visit to the casino was a total lost.

Even a grand master of card counting is only as good as his understanding of his own emotions and soul!

Bless be to you in all your blackjack endeavours!

In the card game of blackjack, what constitutes a blackjack? Please help me!!!?

any combination of cards that come to 21. ie: ace – ten, 5-6-10

well automacially if you get an ace and a king or a queen or a ,jack or a 10 that is black jack ace=11 points or 1 point/ king, queen, jack and a 10+ 10 points and the rest equal their face value

Black Jack is an Ace matching with any face card or a 10 in your first 2 cards. if you get this, it is an automatic win, unless the dealer also has a Black Jack. if you are playing with more than one person and you and another person, other then the dealer, has a Black Jack, then the person with the highest face card wins.

a "blackjack" is when your first two cards equal to 21. like an Ace and king, or queen, jack,or ten. if your cards equal to 21 with more than two cards, like say a King, five(5) and six(6), its then called 21. At least this is casino regulation, but in some house holds they just like to yell out BLACKJACK whenever 21 is hit…:)

any combination adding to 21. aces are 1 or 11, face cards are 10, numbers are worth their value (ex. 1=1, 3=3…etc.) some people also play that if u have 5 cards that do not total over 21, you win automatically.

2 initial cards in which, when combined, the score is 21.
Example:
A-K
A-Q
A-J
A-10

Blog Post 83 – Pips and Faces (Cards, part II) « New World Witchery – the Search for American Traditional Witchcraft

Today I’m continuing the card-reading discussion from the last post.  I’m going to tackle this on a card-by-card basis, but I thought it might be helpful to add a little bit on enumeration and face cards as a whole.  I really should have done this on yesterday’s post, but, well, I didn’t.  So it’s going to be in today’s instead.

There are lots of different systems of interpreting the card numbers and the royals.  some are fairly simplistic (mine definitely are) and some get incredibly detailed, looking at astrological and numerological significance in kabbalistic and ceremonial magical contexts.  I’m not a particularly good ceremonialist, so I tend to use a fairly straightforward system focusing on key concepts associated with each number.  I can probably demonstrate better than I can explain, so here’s my numbering system.

Aces – Beginnings; Primary or Solitary things

Twos – Pairs; Couples; Exchange

Threes – Growth; Wishes

Fours – Decisions; Stagnation; Choices

Fives – Groups; Bodily things; Gains/Losses

Six – Paths

Sevens – Epitome cards*; Inversions; Trouble

Eights – Talking; Ideas

Nines – Patience; Ambition; Expansion

Tens – Completion; Endings

Jacks – Youth; Children; Messages; Peers

Queens – Women or a particular woman; Beauty; Mothers; Nurses; Teachers

Kings – Men or a particular man; Wisdom; Age; Power; Judges

*A note on “epitome” cards – the Sevens of each suit represent the most concentrated form of that suit.  Often, there’s a somewhat negative connotation to this intensity.  Yet, this does not necessarily mean all good or all bad.  for example, the seven of spades can mean “tears” as an epitome card, but if those tears are near lots of red cards, they are likely tears of joy.

The number combinations can also lead to a certain amount of interpretation.  for instance, if you had several threes and nines, that would guide you towards a reading about opportunities and very quick growth (because both cards are about growth/expansion).  A seven, five, and four might indicate bad choices and losses that come out of those choices.  A king with a six might mean a teacher or elder is going to help guide the questioner in a new direction.

Royal cards (or “face cards”) also have a certain potency that the numeric cards lack.  I sometimes include aces as a face card, but this really depends on the reading and the number of other face cards around it.  It’s sort of like spiritual blackjack—it can be the highest or lowest value depending on the other cards.  the other face cards usually represent particular people or major events in the subject’s life.  Getting a king and a queen of the same suit can often indicate “parents” or the parental guidance which shaped the questioner’s life.  You’ll see more about these as we explore them in depth later on, but for now just know that royals, aces, and sevens all mean “pay attention to this reading.”  there are some divinatory systems (such as the card-reading taught in curanderismo) which also remove the queens from the deck before reading.  this dates back to a European practice based on a specific deck, but don’t be surprised if you don’t see them in someone’s reading.  As a final word on royals, there are two special royals in my system of divination:  the king and queen of hearts.  Depending on the gender of the client, one of these cards will represent him or her (the king for a man, the queen for a woman).  We’ll look at how that works later on, though.

All of these interpretations are also deeply linked to the suits, of course, and to where they fall during the reading.

Okay, now with that out of the way, we’ll be moving on to individual cards in the next post.  please let me know if you have any questions, though!

Thanks for reading!

How to Win at Blackjack – Sure-Win Blackjack Tips!

There are so many tips to playing blackjack to get an edge on the house.

Why? because blackjack is one of the few casino games where you can beat the house if you know and practice the strategies intensely.

The decks on the cards are dealt and wasted and the remaining cards in the deck allows a well-informed and trained player a huge edge against the house!

Some sure win tips at winning blackjack:-

One of the simplest means to capture that information is through card counting by counting the aces and kings and queens and jacks and tens that had been rolled out against the smaller cards of twos and threes and fours and fives to sixes.

The best part about this strategy is that it is perfectly legal, and as a matter of fact, the house is not worried at all about such players excellent card counting is really hard to achieve less execute it…

Let us analyse basic card counting. Minus a one when any ace or king or queen or jack or ten is rolled out to the players or dealer. Add a one when any twos or threes or fours to fives to sixes is given out. The aim is to know how many more possibilities of good cards are available in the deck and to take advantage of that when the deck is full of them. when that happens, the card counter will place very huge bets and you should be able to guess the outcome. of course the remaining deck size is also important as it multiplies the card count ratio.

Another method as to how to win blackjack all the time:-

Basic blackjack strategy is also important in card counting, as it tells you what to do as in to split or double or stay against what the dealer’s up card is in relation to yours.

In the end, the house is very clever nowadays, as some casinos before dealing the cards, will skip three cards faced down to confuse the card counter! others recycles the dealt cards and therefore, if you really want to get an edge in blackjack gaming, you might have to move to the private tables. These tables are for high rollers. So be prepared to invest thousands of dollars if not hundreds of thousands!

If all these are to much for you, do not fear… there is still a very simple method to beat the house!

When you reach the casino, just look around for a table where many people are gathered. why? Cause the players are winning! just join in and tag along with the winning trend! This is true, as most likely the house is losing at the moment, and the odds are in the players’ favour.

Another way is to look for a dealer that keep going bust. if you hang around in the casinos long enough, you will surely find such a situation. do not waste any more time, just sit in at that table and place your bet!

The ultimate winning blackjack tip after all these tips that I had just shared is this:-

You must perfect yourself in controlling your emotions! do not be happy or sad when you are winning or losing. The tendency for a person who is too happy is that he will keep on playing and playing without the ability to stop playing! And when the trend turn on him, it will be too late as he will shrug it off and continue to play! On the other hand, the person who is losing will also keep playing as he is out for revenge!

That is why you need to know how much to play, the strategy to stop playing or knowing the signs to quit and when to keep playing! just take this as a business and not an emotional spin on your life!

When you keep practicing this control of your emotions, you will find that every time you come and leave a casino, you will always turn out as a winner! because if you had gone to the casino with a set sum of cash, and only that cash is gone and not your entire salary or livelihood, then you have achieved good control of your emotions and you will be more ready and confident the next time!

These sure win blackjack tips will ultimately be the crucial factors when analysing how to win at blackjack! May the calmness and coolness of mind and heart and soul be with you playing at the casinos!
